The price you pay when you fail to pray
Are those nights you toss about
Not really knowing where you're going
When all you have is doubt.
The days that follow are no better
Your sleepless nights still haunt you
You spend your time in fear and worry
Not knowing who to turn to.
Your disillusion and confusion
Keep you constant company
The only friends that you can count on
Are your tears and misery.
You can't deny that the cost is high
For a life without real prayer
So start praying instead of paying
Put an end to your despair.
If it's love and peace and hope you want
Talk to Jesus everyday
He will hear you because He's near you
He is just a prayer away.
